From painful latch to gas and reflux, Little Cardinals is here to support your lactation or formula feeding journey, with the unique perspective of an SLP/IBCLC. Feeding therapy for infants includes oral motor as well as whole-body development for optimal feeding function. Do you suspect a tongue tie? Little Cardinals works closely with local dentists and supports you before and after a tongue tie release for best results.

Starting Solids
Is your baby or toddler struggling with the transition to solid foods? Trying new foods can be overwhelming, but it should be fun for both of you! Little Cardinals provides oral motor feeding therapy so little ones gain the skills needed for chewing and swallowing, as well as balancing play, posture, sensory experience, and family routines to bring it all together!
-
Prenatal Breastfeeding Consultation
Many moms spend endless hours preparing for birth and developing a birth plan. But have you considered preparing for breastfeeding? We assume it comes naturally and expect the hospital lactation consultant to be enough - but it often isn’t! Having a plan before your baby arrives and knowing when to ask an IBCLC for help can make all the difference in your breastfeeding journey.
-
Speech/Myofunctional Therapy
Little Cardinals offers a limited number of spots each week for children ages 3-12 for speech sound disorders or myofunctional therapy. Does your child have difficulty pronouncing certain sounds? Do they struggle with sleep, mouth breathing, picky eating, crooked teeth, or a tongue tie? If so, your child may benefit from speech and/or myofunctional therapy!

Meet Kori
Kori Mudge, M.S. CCC-SLP, IBCLC is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist (SLP) and international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Clemson University, a master's degree in speech language pathology from the University of Utah, and completed the UC San Diego Extended Studies Lactation Consultant Pathway 2 program. She is the recipient of three ASHA ACE awards for demonstrating a commitment to continuing education.
A speech therapist since 2016, Kori’s passion for infant and toddler feeding therapy ignited when her children were born in 2019 and 2020 with tongue and lip ties. Despite some struggles, she fell in love with breastfeeding. Since then, she has been on a mission to educate herself in all things feeding, babies, and tongue ties, to better serve other families in her community. She became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist in 2022 and then an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2025. Kori believes everyone deserves support when facing feeding challenges, and blends her unique background of speech and lactation to address infant and toddler feeding challenges with a whole-body approach.
When not busy delving into yet another continuing education course, you can find Kori spending time with her family, listening to audiobooks, making pottery, or cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
